MED LOGGER
Introduction
The Med Logger is a React Native android application. The idea behind the app is to create a personal medical journal where the user can store all their medical information in one place. The app features a hypertension and a blood sugar tracker. A pill tracker that keep tracks of medicine and notifies the user when to take it. It also has a phonebook that will store contact information of health care providers. The application uses SQLite as the database which comes preinstalled in every android device. So the app does not save any user information in an external location. However the user can share and save the data by using the export functionality by going to the settings section. The latter half of this page contains the privacy policy of the application.
User Manual
Home Screen
Press on the ＂ADD NEW USER＂ button on the middle of the home screen to enter the information of a new user. The form will ask for user name, age, weight and height. You choose between Kilogram and Pound as the unit of weight and between centimeter and foot-inch as unit of height. The form will also ask for your meal timings i.e. breakfast, lunch and dinner. These is needed to set the reminder for users medicine. You can change all of the these information any time you want by going to the settings which I will describe towards the end of this manual.
Once the user saves the information his/her name will appear at the middle of the screen. Just press on the name to gain access to the application’s desktop. Multiple users can be added to this application.
Menu
The first screen after the home screen is that of the Menu Screen. There six options for six different features. At the bottom of the screen there are two buttons one for home and another for settings.
Diagnostics Reports
The first Menu is that of the diagnostics reports. Here you can take pictures of prescriptions and other medical reports write notes on the reports and also the name of the healthcare professional who advised it. There is also a search functionality that will search through the images by the words in the notes and the doctors name if you have entered it. You can also share the images through this app.
Pill Tracker
The next is the pill tracker screen that helps the user to keep track of timings and duration of taking medicine. Press on the ADD MEDICINE button near the bottom of the screen. It will take the user to a form. The form will ask for name of the medicine; the start date of taking the medicine; duration for which it is needed to be taken; days on which the medicine is needed weather on particular days or every day. And finally the time at which the medicine is needed to be taken before breakfast, after breakfast and so on.
The details of the medicine can be updated by pressing on the name of the medicine on the pill tracker screen. A modal will be displayed, on the right hand corner of which there will be an option for editing the details.
Blood Pressure
The Blood Pressure screen allows you to keep track of your Systolic Pressure, Diastolic Pressure and Pulse. You can also view your historical data and also the pressure is represented graphically.
Blood Sugar
In the blood sugar screen the VIEW HISTORY button gives the historical data. You can toggle between mg/dL and mmol/L units of measurement. The app also allows the user to save record fasting blood sugar, post prandial blood sugar and random blood sugar separately by selecting the type of test you want to record.
Your Doctors
You can save contact information and other details like last and next appointment in this section by pressing on the ADD DOCTOR button. You can also edit the information by pressing on the doctor's name.
History
The History screen gives the users activities for the selected day. Like the medicine the user took; blood sugar and blood pressure values if recorded. Also if any diagnostics reports were saved.
Settings
In the settings section you can view, edit or delete your profile You can also export the data.
Export Data
The application does not store your data at an external location but you can export the data as a .CSV file.

Our application does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information or user data on external servers. All data generated by the application is stored locally on your device's SQLite database.

Since our application does not transmit any data to external servers, no third-party services have access to your data.

Data Control:
As the data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it. You can delete the data at any time by uninstalling the application or using any data management features provided within the app.
